South Louisiana born and raised

I am from Lafayette, Louisiana and have lived here my whole life. I grew up being the subject of pictures pretty frequently as my grandmother brought her camera EVERYWHERE when I was a child, which made me realize just how important it is to capture memories.

I started my photography journey in the beginning of the dreaded Covid-19 pandemic in 2019, using a Canon Rebel T7 I picked up on Facebook marketplace just to see if I could start a new hobby. Little did I know it would explode into something that I am so passionate about and good at.

I eventually went under the wing of my mentor: Jade Howard - Gingersnap Birth Photography, and I learned so much from watching her and asking questions and I strive to be on her level of greatness one day. I still continue to learn more and more every single time I pick up my camera and I have been truly blessed with some of the best clients, some of whom have become great friends of mine!

Personal Life

I’m 26 years old and have been married to my high school sweetheart, Richie, since 2018. He’s my biggest supporter and the reason I keep chasing my dreams, no matter what obstacles come my way. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without him.

We don’t have children yet, though we’ve been trying to start our family for a few years now. For the moment, our two fur babies, Jules and Church, keep our hearts full.

I’d describe myself as an extroverted introvert — I’m not one for big crowds, but get me in a cozy space with good company, and I’ll talk your ear off.

When it comes to photography, weddings are my absolute favorite to capture. Funny enough, I used to hate shooting them when I first started out! But the more I practiced and pushed myself outside my comfort zone, the more I fell in love with them. There’s something so special about witnessing a wedding up close — it sparks a passion in me that I never knew existed.

My love for photography keeps growing, and I can’t wait to see where this journey takes me next!
